Jerome Harrison Undervalued
Vince Bavaro
7/27/10

Listen, we all know that Cleveland spent a second-round pick on Montario Hardesty... the "big back" to compliment the "little guy" Harrison.  By now, the entire fantasy industry has annointed Hardesty the sexier pick of the two, but not so fast sweetheart.

If you can see The Matrix like Neo Anderson, then you will see that this situation is déjà vu... eerily similar to 2008, in which everyone in the world declared first-round pick Jonathan Stewart as the devine hulk to vaporize DeAngelo Williams.  While we all know Stewart is as legit as they come, we also remember what happened that season: Williams aka the Fantasy MVP, got hungry and blew doors off to the tune of 1639 total yards and 20 touchdowns. Déjà vu= A glitch in The Matrix.  I'm not saying Harrison is as talented as D-Will, but DO NOT SLEEP ON HIM.

Yes, Harrison is smallish but he's a big talent.  Do these stats look like that of a smurf?

Week 15- 34 Att, 286 Yds, 3 TD
Week 16- 39 Att, 148 Yds, TD
Week 17- 33 Att, 127 Yds, TD

Add to the facts that Harrison is money hungry and has great receiving ability, Hardesty has been known to get nicked up, and Cleveland's line is stellar.  That's it, I'm done!

UPDATE 7/31/10- Hardesty tweaked his knee and will miss a couple of weeks. This serves as an increase in Harrison's fantasy stock and momentum.
